Shad at Bonneville

Has anybody been catching any shad or know of anybody that has?

There should be some somewhere. Have you checked the fish counts at Bonneville yet?

I've been there two weeks ago around two islands, many people caught shad a lot in their buckets. It looks like pretty good time of this year now. I've seen they used a small jig with egg weight (1/2oz or less).

They were still catching tons of them in the Rainier/Longview area today. Looks like a good run heading your way!
