I know people that would pay money just to catch one steelhead. Powerbait or not.
I think once you reach a certin level as an angler its always about the next step. If you can swing for chrome and get em your probably not going to use powerbait. If youve never caught a chromer or your in a drought and there hitting chartruese eggs with glitter, by all means, chartruese eggs with glitter.
As for me, I would use it all day if I didn't eat it all my self on Juanitas while I was driving to the river. I love me some blue red white swirl.
