Anyone ever fish the plunking shack on the Alsea?

Looks like a fun way to spend the day on a cold rainy day, with the river high.
:)

I have fished it many times for salmon , plunking plugs after the steelhead get into the river, "now" its a good place to sit around and fish . I will be up river where the water tends to stay alittle nicer color, a lot of water down that low in the system

I've been down there looking around before but never wet my line there.
I thought it'd be a good place when the water is raging and color is off.
Plunk your stuff tight to the bank and wait for mr. steelhead to come a knockin!
I've seen quite a few fish hanging on the side of the shack before while driving by.

What/Where's the plunking shack? Are you talking about the shelter at the Mike Bauer wayside? Somehow I don't think so.
