Outstanding day out of Newport

[Gulfstream]

Got the nod to make the run out of Newport Tuesday. Ocean was a little confused as we left the jaws, but got better as the day progressed. Ran south a ways to my buddy's ling spot and had 6 nice ones by 8:30.Made the move to try for Salmon and got 2 Hatchery Coho in about an hour and then the bite stopped Moved north a few miles and found some birds and put them in.about 25 minutes we git a triple, all hatchery and finished up in less than an hour. OUTSTANDING day and were back at the slip by noon! Have Fun!

We had a great day last Friday out Winchester Bay, we got a nice king and 4 Coho and released several others and lost a very large king.

"lost a very large king." Now that's not good. I remember a few fish I've caught, but I remember all the big ones that that made it to the boat and made their escape! Go get him on the next trip.
