North Santiam access

I went up and drove through the North Santiam river system area to check things out yesterday. Its a heartbreaker for sure and with all the logging activity and the damage I'm wondering if there will be any river access this year. I've scanned the internet to see if I can determine what will be happening but I can't find anything. Anyone in the know about access? Thanks in advance..

You can still fish from the bridges in Lyons and Mill City. As for getting right down to the river, it may take a few years before it's safe. But, when it opens back up the fishing should be epic!

Thank you for the reply.. I was feeling a bit of a chill.. and yes a little rest will do wonders..
