Accidently posted this in the northwest instead of willamette zone.

Hey everyone just looking for a little input on where might be a good place to flyfish for trout within 45-hour away from Portland. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Have a good day and tight lines evrrybody.

By any chance do you mean minutes?
If so, Try Barton on the Willamette, Trillium is about 45 minutes for you as well and you can wade out in several places.

I'm with wozniasm on this one although I'm not sure about trout at Barton on the (Clackamas). But Trillium, Harriet, Oak Grove Fork of the Clackamas are all good bets. Some coastal rivers might be good as well for searuns.

About trout at Barton on the (Clackamas).
I go to Barton Park and walk upstream. I catch trout periodically and there's always a chance of a steelie.
OTF did mention other good possibilities.
Don't forget there's a lot of us planning to go to Trillium the week / weekend after labor Day...

Thanks guys. Im heading to the upper wilson tomorrow for resident cutthroats and maybe searuns further down towards the mouth.. Ended up going way up the clackamas and used my 3/4 wt and caught 20-30 trout between 6-13 inches... 3/4 of them were cutthroats the rest rainbows.. All nymphing. I'll let you know how the coast goes
