Other than salmon eggs.... what else works effectively regularly? I heard yarn usually works only with steelhead mostly. What about jigs? Spinners? Spoons something else? Any help is always appriciated

Usually depends where you're at. I like herring for trolling in bays.

Yes eggs, Spinners, and sandshrimp all wprk well.. My go to would have to be some of First Bites' Jigs. In the 3/0-5/0 size... Pink/Orange or Purple. Most the water i fish Im fine with a 1 1/2 oz bobber. So adjust accordingly. Also, Take a sandshrimp tail and slide 'er up the hook and make it look legit. Fish 1-3 feet off the bottom... This technique kills chinooks. Especially when everyone around you is using "Eggs" or Sandshrimp and Egg cocktail....
