First in 13 yrs

Got my first steal/salmon in a long time. I hadn't been fishing. Last fall I decided to get back into it. Hooked into 2 summers in September. But didn't bank either. I was able to change that today. Around the high rocks area I picked up a nice summer hen on an orange number 4 blue fox. Right before a tailout. Been waiting for the river to drop a bit to hit this spot. First cast. Bam. Literally first cast. I'm ruined. Lol. Anyway. She held water for a few min. Then gave me a good 10 min wrestle. I had my drag very loose. Chased her down river 20 yards or so. Brought her in right before the rapids started. Pics to come.
