I never have been one comfortable with pointing out another's mistakes, but in order to save yourself a possible fish/game citation down the road you might want to look at the regs for Detroit Lake under the "Special Notes" section, which reads, "only five trout can be caught in one day, and each shall be landed in a manner that places the fish at 90 degrees to the bank, ventral fins being in proper alignment so as to render any photographic recording as being in the proper upright position relative to the photographer".
Also, "Legal fishing hours for trout are between the period of Sunrise and Sunset, with angling prohibited during that time when Detroit Lake is on the side of the Earth that tilts down like on the side of a globe".
Beautiful fish, even if caught illegally...
