I hate to flame, but seriously...fish are running RIGHT now in every bay. Some slower, some faster. We're in the middle of September, the fish are have been running in for about a month and typically starting to increase in numbers right about now. Bank fishing, boat fishing...same story.

Lots of options down here. Ive seen quite a few pulled off the board walk in the last week. Tons of public access, its time to hit it hard !

The jetty at Bandon by the boat basin is another option.

Ive never fished it, worked in Coosbay for a while/ hunted spring beer up Millicoma-way. Theres miles of tide water bordered by road on both sides out S Coos River Hwy.... I bet there are some people fishing out there from the bank.

Eggs and Shrimp have fooled many of chin-hooks, regardless of river ( watch out for the pogies). Spinners are great too.
