Hi...new to fishing in this neck of the woods.....and was never really great in my neck of the woods :-P Trying to catch steelhead using jig and bobber....but with no avail. Anybody suggest some good colors for the jigs or a better method?

All depends on water color and clarity ... blacks to purples to reds should all work in most water conditions in any combo... sometimes tossing in a bright orange/pink and white combo can move a fish to change it up..

Excellent! TY! I have some red / black jigs...but I didn't have a whole lot of luck today :-)

I looked at the color today (very steelhead green and fishy) and I would fish a lighter color fly/jig with the bright light we are expected to enjoy this weekend..

I use two jigs. Both work everytime i go out. A peach and white, and a red jig with a small pink worm hanging off the end. DEADLY! I tie both of them, if your intrested PM me i do sell them as well.
