Bite Off... or on?

GMR and I managed 7 fish between us. Six small trout/smolt from 6-10" and I snagged one large sucker by the tail.

When them little smolt are there they are hard to keep OFF the end of you line.

The bite was on for me last week, but unfortunately, the bite was OFF this morning for me (Monday, Columbus Day) in between Dodge and Oxbow. Water was still the color of chocolate milk - I was down there between 7:00am and 9:00am. Visibility was about 3-6 inches, tops. The river should be taking shape again real soon though...
