Yep. I've been using Berkley's Mice Tails too; for a few years now. I've trolled with 'em as well. 8-12" behind a 4' dodger.plumbertom said:

Yeah; they quit making the Spring Green Power Eggs a while back. It was darker than lime green, if memory serves. Certainly darker than these "lemon/lime" colors.plumbertom said:

The Spring Green Power Eggs, were at least as dark as their Spring Green Power bait dough shown here. Which is still made. Perhaps they switched to Lemon/Lime, so either color could be used. Instead of have a jar of Spring Green eggs, AND a jar of Chartreuse colored eggs?

@plumbertom When the Spring Green Power Eggs were still made; I'd always start with one Spring Green egg and One Orange egg on a bait hook (usually size 8 or so). That combo worked VERY well.
Also...traveling with Sherman and Mr. Peabody in the Wayback machine to the 80's...a bunch of us were fishing at Olalla Reservoir (near Toledo). We were all just slammin' the trout that day. But those fish would ONLY hit something, that was Spring Green in color. As we ran out of Green baits, the bite began to die OFF.
I had noticed a kid, about 12 roughly, had ridden his bike out to the lake. At some point that kid re-appeared. And hanging OFF of one handlebar, was a bag full of Spring Green Power Bait. (Power Eggs hadn't been created then). We each gave that kid 5 bucks a jar; and instantly started catching fish again! That kid was SMART. Because he only paid something like a buck fifty for a jar. So, that lil' dude made bank that day! (pun intended...LOL)

Yeah, and I don't think $5 would cover retail of a jar of powerbait today.
The bag of Mousetails are just under that at Bi-mart, or they were a couple of weeks ago.
