Any advice for trout on the Clackamas up past Estacada?

I'm taking my kids camping this weekend out to the clackamas River past estacada this weekend. Any advice for getting into some trout would be greatly appreciated.

Standard techniques. Worms, drifted or dunked. Small spinners. Only fin clipped rainbows. All the brookies and browns you can catch (no limit, and keep them all).

Or go down to North Fork Reservoir.

Thanks, we scouted around up there today and found a lake full of rainbows. My kids are excited!

Not sure if it's open with the construction (I think it is), but if they kids are young enough, Small Fry Lake is at Promontory Park, and it's stocked just for the little kids.

I saw some folks catching some river trouts beneath faraday the other day. If you dont you can just cross the bridge and fish the lake.

I did catch a stocker on a 12-30 pound 10' 6" Lami with a 2 oz bobber and a salmon bait just for Shiz and Gigz on Sunday...which means there are lots of little trouts around Estacada though.
