Alton Baker Park closed next week

I went fishing yesterday and there were signs all up and down the grassy area stating that the bank and path will be closed from the 9th-13th due to maintenance. Just wanted to save a trip for some of you. Didn't get a bite yesterday but it was cold, rainy and around 11am. Different from Thursday when I caught five gorgeous Trout. One was 17" and 2 1/2 pounds. Anyway good luck and happy fishing.

Thank you! I was planning on heading out tuesday unfortunately. Where (in what general area, not your specific hole) are you landing fish like that? I don't think i've ever had that kind of success.

I wouldn't say there is one particular place to catch big fish. I just happened to be quite lucky that day. Look for me next time you go out and I can tell you more.
