Caught 2 trout, both on a panther Martin instead of my usual fake worm

I didn't catch the memo about a "witches and ghouls" paddling event. So there was ~50 paddleboarders on the lake and in the stream all in Halloween costumes

Water was surprisingly clear

No motor on the kayak, just paddled it.

Trip from awhile ago, no trout but we did see one get caught at the ramp and some with powerbait at the first waterfall

Water was real dirty, chocolate milk like everything else right now

2 hour trip and at least 20 trout, I stopped counting

Water is high but has cleaned up quite a bit

No one else fishing other than a couple on the bank, they just stocked it this Wednesday for I believe the last time this year

Yeah they weren't the prettiest fish in the world, first one looked sick, others had chunks

Another gash kinda visible in one of the action shots

I havent seen the local heron or falcons/hawks, definitely some nutria and beaver around

Quick trip again yesterday about a dozen trout, water is probably a foot lower and pretty stained again which was a surprise.

It's almost the lowest I've seen it, make using the motor hard in some places but still beats paddling.

Parking lot has new no parking signs, just wish the city would fix the mud hole.
