all good news after the earlier bad news about chinook. hatchery coho quota is high (110K) and it opens on June 17, closes Aug31 unless quota goes before.
once the CA bound chinook have passed south, we open 7 days per week on Sept1 for 2 salmon- any coho or chinook can be retained but of your 2 per day, only 1 can be a chinook. these would be OR chinook heading for our rivers, the coho quota is 25K (plus any rollover from the summer 110K).
