    Carp fishing

Apparently you don't have the point of fishing in general yet.

Don't know where to go? Look here.

My guess is that those are trout fishing spots.

    Carp fishing

Anyone who thinks that they know everything about fishing has a lot to learn. Learning fishing skills is a lifelong experience and only a brash kid would make a statement like you have in your signature.

    Bass fishing regulation??

Overkill? I don't think so. There are places in Oregon that crappie fishing is so overabused that they too need a limit. They are being caught by the 100 quart cooler fulls and many of them are being sold, which is illegal. Any fishery can be overfished and unfortunately it's happening in many...

    Brownlee Res. in June

We were up too early for the bikers so we missed them on the road. We were at the Hitching Post Motel in Richland and there were several there but they were pretty quiet. Had some bass tournament guys there too.

    Brownlee Res. in June

The weather really didn't bother us too much. We got none of the thunder and lightning and it never rained really hard. The clouds and rain kept the temps at a reasonable level. We figured it beat 100 degrees in the shade when there ain't no shade. We've been there and done that.

    Brownlee Res. in June

Just got home from Brownlee today. Two buddys and I were there for four and a half days of fishing fun. The three of us caught 1,472 crappie, of which over 1,400 went back in the water. We kept and cleaned about 20 each. The bass were much less common and smaller than usual. There was a...

    Tualatin River Fishing

White catfish are a species, not mutants. See White Catfish. I believe they were stocked in the Tualatin many years ago but never took hold. I doubt if there are any left now.

    banjo minnow

There you go again with the smooth talk. I would like to see all the fish and wildlife preserved for future generations, not just the salmonids. That's why I take exception to people like you who want to wipe out entire species of fish without fully understanding what their impact really is...

You sure have a way with words Thuggin. Good thing I don't value your opinion or I might have my feelings hurt.

Well I must be stupid then Thuggin so thanks for the insult but you may want to look in the mirror. If your plan is to kill everything that eats smolt then you had better start killing off the salmon, steelhead and trout too because they like smolt just as well as other fish. Oh wait, you are...

    Columbia River Report 5/26

We lauched out of Chinook Landing. We used whatever worked at a particular hole. We threw crankbaits, spinnerbaits, tubes, small swimbaits and plastic worms. We caught them either on a reaction bite or slow and on the bottom.

    Columbia River Report 5/26

My buddy and I fished the Columbia from Rooster Rock down to the tip of McGuire Island today. We caught a total of 51 smallmouth. Some of the usual places we came up completely empty, others were hot, and some yielded only one or two fish. The vast majority of were males, so no large fish...

    Brownlee Res

Unfortunately, the crappie are not real big at the moment. Most of them are in the 8-9" range. We did catch several 9 1/2" and my big one was a 10 1/8". I hope they grow a lot before we make our fall trip. A couple of my fishing partners and I are going to Brownlee in June and we also plan...
