When you're fishing the jetty, use sandshrimp or sand moles for bait. Cast within 20' of the rocks. Thats where you'll consistently catch fish. Get ready to get snagged so bring lots of weights and hooks. Fishing the jetty is the most fun thing in oregon.

Sandy has been tough for me too! Been to Cedar Creek twice now and have only hooked one. Havent been seeing the numbers I usually do this time of year. I'm going to try the clackamas today, hopefully the sunny weather warms the water enough to entice a few strikes.

Wow! this picture has me wishing it was October again. Great fish!

Not this winter, but this spring/summer I did exceptionally well catching lots of fish over 3lbs.

Give it two more weeks and fishing in our rivers should start picking up.
