When I go out of Newport,I always go with Tradewinds...Not sure if there the cheepest but I personaly have never come away empty handed.The Captians and crew always make fishing fun...and to complete a good day on the water ,purchase a spot in a crab pot...I would recomend them to all...
Nice boat Jim, should bring lots of enjoyment to the both of you. there is a nice troll north of the boat launch on 140. tight to the shore .5" Bomber long A in smoke kills along this part of the lake...tight lines.
Use tigertail prawns straight from the fish counter .you can get four to five baits per.a #4 hook and sliding weight .you will catch Cats at both Brownlee,Oxbow, and Owyhee....good luck and good fishing..
