hey... if u EVER want to go fishing i can take u out on the boat. ive taken people out before who've never fished and i love teaching people the life of bass fishing. just let me know when and where and ill be there! ive got tooonnnss of extra rods and boat space so its up to u =)
well i dont know the depth around the island but last thursday i was catching 3's and 4's all day long. BIG MALES haha. all in the spawn and lovin it. it was fun caught a LOT of fish! My buddy has all of the pictures but ill try to get them soon!
the crawdad color works best at the beggining of spawn because they come up to the surface to lay eggs as well. (spawn is happening as we speak for the majority of the bass right now) after that it kinda fizzles out then picks back up for the summer and fall. they also hit the crawdad color...
So when carp jump is there belly white with an orange tint? I have been seeing some sort of fish jumping in like 3 feet of super rocky slow running water. And all I ever see is their belly never there side to see the species!
i attached 3 photos kinda step by step. just slide the jig head into the tube. this creates a somewhat circular motion when worked on the bottom. nice and slow nice and slow BLAM =) fish on... or how i was taught to say by a hawian... HAWHN A PAW!
well right now the bass are starting to move up as the water gets warmer and the males start making nests for eggs... so i'd try fishing the tubes from 15 to 4 ft of water. some of the females have been laying in flats in less that 2 ft of water. which boggles me cuz y the heck would they be...
sometimes they hit anything and everything. what depth where u in abouts when the bullhead hit? and try the 3 1/2 inch dry creek tube green with orange flake. i can mail u a pack if u'd like. i get them for free.
