Well if any body will have a double digit day it will be you and your bro. Yes there were a **** load of boats. We did not touch any fish with yarnnies/glowbugs, Then we switched to eggs.
Finally got to do a drift on a friday and well. We went 2 for 3 the first fish was a dime bright hatchery that spit the hook after a couple min battle. Then this little wild buck that had more fight than any other fish I have caught this winter. Then One more hatchery to finish the day..Hope...
Realy wish I got a picture of the big native. But I dont like netting them and we could not get to the bank. How does everybody feel about netting wild fish?
Floated from 1st to cloverdale and went 3 for 3. First fist came on a plug and that was the only clipper of the day. But the last fish was the most memorable. This was my biggest steelhaed ever right around 15 pounds. Sorry no pics of the natives. But believe me they were big and pretty.
Well I have been 3 times this winter. First trip was early conditions were great I think the river was at like 5ft. And I hooked up with the earliest winter of my life and for the boat.
