This is BS Sorry I have trolled different colored panther martins with my uncles and cousins And have has days where 90% of the fish were caught on silver or red or blue, you get my point. Exact same presentation , exact same lure. Just different color. Trout even stocker after a couple of...
No one has said panther martins. They go down deep ,quick. black and gold is the best. Also any mettallic colors. Mepps longcaster for steelhead and salmon are good for big brooders.
I would try using spinners. I had an utralight rod last year and i couldnt bobber fish with it all for obvious reasons. Spinners are personally my preference. There are spendy though
In winter for bass. I LOVE to use a salamander pattern in panther martin like 1/16 or 1/8 not any bigger than that. Slow presentaion but make sure it's still spinning. I can't help you on anywhere to though.
Nice fish! I am 13 too! And i call my friends names that would make a sailor blush. But we're just messing around.
Back to the fish. Nice. I have never really got into flyfishing. Just couldnt cast it good.
I know people do it , as seen on another thread here. I have nothin against it. But in a flyfishing only area. Is it legal? Just popped into my head and wondered.
