    Winters...

Question on bobbers, I'm gonna fish them hard on the sandy and clack this winter. I have a spinning set up with braid, what kind of bobber do you prefer, slip or fixed? Especially when fishing a jig? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Sandy tomorrow

Damn, that's a bummer. I still might head out to dodge and see what i can do in the brown for a bit. The itch is bad

    Sandy tomorrow

Still planning on making a trip tomorrow morning, haven't decided if I'll head to oxbow or dodge park area. Any idea if the river is holding after the rain today? I heard it got back into shape okay yesterday

    Why so quiet on here?

Just returned from a week on tenmile lake. North lake was much more productive than the south for us at least. Morning fishing produced better results for us than evening fishing as well. We didn't fish the first three mornings we were there due to minus tides so we were clamming. Fish weren't...

    Why so quiet on here?

Thanks guys! Counting down the minutes. We haven't been in around 5 years but we used to go every summer during the mid 2000's. we have been heading to brownlee reservoir in the spring while I was in college. Now that I'm a teacher I made my group move our trip back to after school is out so...

    Why so quiet on here?

One of the best largemouth lakes in Oregon and not a post since late March??? I'll be there in 2 weeks and can't wait to get into some bucket mouths! I'll send some reports and photos along with.

    Disappointed

Sweet yeah he seemed like a good dude. we chatted about it and I could believe it just because I've heard of stories about fly guys going a little bonkers if someone goes below them.

    Disappointed

Yeah guy in a green boat said he lost a big chinook yesterday and then got yelled at by a fly fisherman for "low holing" him. It was a great ride down the river, that was it.

    Disappointed

We went with a guy named Dan from natural high fishing. I got it as a gift for Christmas. I'm guessing we just took it in a transition time from winters to summers.

    Disappointed

Not sure, newish to the river, which is why I asked the questions I did in my post. From what I've read and have been told they run until early May, but like I said what do I know

    Disappointed

Took my first trip down the clackamas today in a drift boat with a guide from Feldheimer to Carver looking for steelhead and not one hook-up from the three in our boat with the exception of a smolt. We basically had the river to ourselves, maybe 5-7 other drift boats out and heard of one hatch...

    First steelhead trip today

Did you get out on the Clack? I know a lot of people are focusing on Springers now, but I've got a guided trip from Feldheimer to Carver on Sunday so hopefully we'll get into some fish.

    Report thread again... winters.. 2013-14

Went to cross park tonight until dark. Water looked great, as I got hung up on the bottom, a guy above me (maybe an OFFer?) hooked into a nice look fishing. Got my blood pumping and and didn't even know the guy! Steelie was feisty tho and snapped him off. Not a bad evening to see one hook up.

    Upper Sandy River

Lolo Pass is above the mouth of the salmon, and unfortunately will be closed to all salmon and steelhead fishing, just read the 2014 regs to make sure. So your best bet will be above the old marmot dam site to the mouth of the salmon. Most will be focus on the water below Cedar Creek since...
