the siuslaw around Richardsons is very good ; most of the coastal streams are pretty good. I use to use hotdogs or a piece of bacon. I would imagine the willamette would be good too.
what did you use when fishing that stretch of the river? Ever fish for steel head or salmon there. I know there is nice sturgeon in some of those deep pools.
was your camp spot right before the bridge with the small stream of water running out of the culvert by the camp site? If you did you left a very clean site and I want to think you ; we nabbed it sunday afternoon and didn't have to clean up after anyone this time. Nice not to see toliet paper...

My girlfriend and i will be up there for about five days , looking forward to enjoying some good fishing and a beautiful lake. We'll be fishing out of a drift boat with a yamaha outboard , hope see you there and good luck!

it is a beautiful lake ; I used to pack into some of the highlake from waldo and make our base camp at waldo its self. Your right I think its a lot more enjoyable in the fall. I'm making plans to head up there in mid sept. I was raised in oakridge so this area was my back yard play ground; I miss it!
