went there today, spent just over 3 hours there, powerbait and spinners wouldnt do the job, i tried chartreuce, white, green, and orange for powerbait, and for spinners i used panther martins and blue foxes, in blue pink brass and yellow, and all i had to show for my efforts was a pile of weeds...

so i couldnt stand just looking at it any longer, i went town to EE wilson to give it a shot, the reel preformed beautifully, it was a joy to operate, the drag was so precise and smooth, and the bail worked flawlessly after being broken in, so far, money well spent.

thank you GM, however this makes me want to go try it out even more! damn. my father has an OLD shimano (1960's ish) and he fishes with that thing every time he goes out, he got #10 maxima on it thata been on there since i can remember, i guess thats a good thing though, maybe thay means this...

well i just picked one up earlier today for like 40 bucks at sportsmans, and had it spooled with treline XL #6 seems like a nice real, it feels nice, decent gearing, sturdy bail and a good name. just wondering if anyone has used tis reel yet, ahhhh i can't break it in until sunday and its killing...

i just tested them out in our bass pond, so i wasn't expecting a whole lot, but they spun great even in dead calm water, im thinking on maybe driving to big creek res. tomorrow, ill just have to give them a try then

well i bought it at bi mart, i just got back from fishing and for the hell of it i tied the other 2 sizes on, and they both work just fine... that 1/6th ounce must just have been defective, the blade and shaft of the lure look identical to all the other lures i have in my arsenal in that size...
