Trying to hit the holes and rips, but still learning about reading the surf a bit.

Indeed. I basically walked about a mile and a half stretch while doing the best I could with stripping and changed up colors quite a bit. All Clousers, though, and I have pretty good confidence in those pretty much everywhere. I do have a few sandflea flies I tied, but have yet to fish them.

Been putting in a lot of time this week on the late afternoon incoming tides. Fishing up and down around Newport. Casting mainly smaller clousers in the first set of breakers, but no luck so far. I know you don't have to cast that far to get them, and I've studied the rips and know what to look...

Camping next month and wondering if I should even bring a rod. I hear there are a couple flounder around in the fall as well as some clamming opportunities, but I'd rather wet a hook. Any advice appreciated. THX

Same here. Called and emailed. So far no reply. I have a feeling it's a widespread issue. Should be a pretty easy fix. Funny thing is "taking a risk" because of your software that wasn't fully tested before release. I'm thinking a ticket due to their glitch would be pretty easy to beat in court...

I guarantee you that you can't put your phone in Airplane mode and then enter a new harvest tag entry. Not going to work real well out of cell service. Hopefully ODFW developers are right on top of it :cool:

Thanks Troutdude! I brought my vise and will tie some Bordens... Looking forward to hitting the creeks! Might be a real challenge on the tenkara, will build a little bit longer line.
