Does anyone bank fish at Chinook Landing? I've been there a couple of times, but haven't gotten doodly squat. I don't go far down the river, maybe about 50 yards east of the boat launches. Where's the best fishing there?

I use a cheap Shakespeare 9' med-heavy rod with a size 50 spinning reel. You just need something long enough to get a line out and heavy enough to handle the weight you want to use. If you already have a medium rod 8' or longer I'd say try it and then go from there. I

Great pics! The last time I was there was probably about 9 years ago. The lake was dry and the entire trail and area around the lake was mud. I understand conditions change there seasonally.
