John Day River smallmouth and catfish tips
Have done very well just below narrows. Watch very close for rattlers on both sides of river. LEAVE all Native American artifacts alone.

Top water for smallmouth over?
Largemouth are striking an f7 frog flatfish. I slay them about sunset doing the same troutdale said. The big bass when they hit top water makes my heart skip a beat like ducks committed to decoys.

Canned trout
Anyone can their catch? Is canned trout any good? I have had canned Kokanee and loved it, different than a trout though.

Prescription fishing glasses
After getting lots of opinions , Maui Jim’s look like a good choice. Lens might be copper mirror… if they have that. Otherwise maybe gray

Prescription fishing glasses
Going with polarized, but what glasses… so many to pick from. Luckily insurance pays for them or I would be at the dollar store.

Prescription fishing glasses
Anyone have a favorite? Want polarized, not sure what color lenses but leaning to grey. Fish mainly streams and some lakes.

Yellow…. No limit. Otherwise this would be in “saltwater fishing” but I do catch a lot of pink fin surf perch, from the beach’s… lol

Yellow perch fishing
Slayed a tub full of perch, some were 12 inch… kept more than I should have. One of the best eating fish. Anyone else fish for these?
