You should try a curly tail on a jig head with a clip on spinner bait. Probably would work good too.

Kirk pond right across from the Dam, does have large mouth bass. I'm unsure if their is a advisory or not for eating the fish. I've eaten a couple I caught out of there, and they seemed just fine. You might try the Fern Ridge Lake as well. I've Caught bass in there too.

Didn't get much action on the mickey finn, I did get one short strike. A brown bugger was definitely a better producer today

Interested if anyone has tried some of the classic bucktail streamers such as a mickey finn or a black nose dace in still water for trout. I mostly use a nymph under a indicator when still water fishing but recently started stripping in a wolly bugger with good results. It had me wondering about...
