Well done LuckyFisher! Absolutely well done!

Sure, it won't be the best to eat, but at least he is getting out, learning about fish and fishing. Probably just super excited to get into a fish after a long while of trying or reading fishing forums. At least you are learning some by being on the forum, luckyfisher, in regards to fish ID. Take it all in stride and keep hitting the water.
Best,

Not just ignore but give negative reputation to a post. Let's turn reputation of rude people from green to red.JeannaJigs said:It is unfortunate that people can be so rude repeatedly. Ignore the trolls dude. I'm sure you've learned from these fish.

My first Coho. A darkie Buck, Note the smile + I ate the fish...Whats the problem?Yogidabear said:If you don't want to draw a line keeping black fish so be it. Is snagging and flossing ok too? Good bye!
:clap:Nice Legal Fish! Keep it up!:clap:LuckyFisher said:Here's what all the fuss is about. I thought the older one was a Chinook because it looked like it had a black lower jaw and it was bigger than I thought Coho's would be (probably 20+ pounds). In hindsight I should have done more research about what older fish look like. Anything I keep I eat. There will be no waste. The meat wasn't fantastic, but it was certainly edible.
