Thought I would get in on this...biggest so far this year at 6 even. Lots of 4-5's already so hopefully its a big bass year :)

Only been there once early this year but i launched my 17' bass boat no prob....but FP did say it gets WEEDY like TT just said but if you have a decent prop you should chop it ok.
Jig like TR said along with alternate of punch set up if its real heavy stuff......ive been using chatterbaits with a lot of sucess in weeds lately too. Also if your geared for it Hudd baits makes a sweet weedless swimbait :)
Nice fix!! Dont think Melody will do that though...but might. It was suggested by CP when he was with us once for her to use the livewell lol!! I would be curious as to how other women anglers have solved it too because going in during a tourney would not be good....thankfully Mel is a real...
Right on TR! I always get nervous this time of year.....so many chuckleheads luck out on big ones and eat em :( public water makes me cringe......CP damn near gets into fights too ive come close myself. but its every year.......
I would think that with the cost of decent ACX plywood and misc mats and the time.....you just bought a toon which i would trust a lot more. Like TR said looks like a wet day to me but have fun for sure and pics when its done :)
That 4# kicker for the top team is what did it......Colby had a broken down boat for over an hour early also.....but its all good they did great (despite how hes gonna feel about it)
No official word yet.....his mom and us are in constant contact but other than a text this morning about how he felt about the lake and a huge thanks to us all we will see once the weigh in is under way....info to come as we get it.
Yeah thanks again TR!! as always was great to fish out there and even getting outfished again is still super cool! thought for SURE you and CP would weigh in all 5+'s.....but still way to go as is it stood. Was great to see everybody again but there never seems to be any time.....FP and wife...
Waaaay too many to list lol but RI beavers work well....brush hogs....like i said lot of them and it depends on what and where im fishing for color/trailer lots of ppl on here are better jig fisherman than me though..hit up TR or CP they have it down but good!!!
