I just wanted lunch, a cheesy crunch gordita to be exact, unfortunately the 16 mouth breathers in front of me were the only people on earth that can't crack off the whole taco bell menue faster than the pledge of allegiance... then it happened, a fantasy.. me, shaking the closest person to the cash register, holding them in a half nelson screaming.." its all the same ****! just put on in a different order" have the f-ng gordita! its an epicurian delight for the palate! yeah, baha blast mt dew and a taco... lets go people, Im forty now and I get cranky when I don't eat. Got my food, walked out to my truck and a kid almost ran me down with his $55,000 subaru tuner.. I stared, my truck... passenger side... under the seat.. Para Ordinance 45 with a clip full of shredders, shake it off HHM, eat. Im leaving in the morning, its to warm here, im starting to sweat in my waders... salmon types are starting to peer out of their windows towards the rivers.. blossoms are giving my alleries fits and I can't take onemore minute of existing in an enviroment where everything is a commercial or marketing tool... I don't belong here among people... Im going to Alaska to commune with the snow and the just begining steel runs..ctrl alt delete.. whala.. its the beginning of lonely steelhead season again. I hope you all have a great spring trout and bass seasons and may you somehow find a parking spot for a trailer at the launch when the springers show- see you all in a few months- Brad

Brad; glad you will be retrieving your sanity soon. ;) I know the lower 48 folks always have and always will have a bizarre outlook on life compared to Alaskans. Must be the lack of pristine air and surroundings. Autofisher is still dreaming of heading North and making a new, better life. He has talked about it for a few years, now and reading your posts about life there has made him more determined than ever to make it happen soon. Stay in touch and send porn! :D

I hear ya man, i went to the carlos mencia concert last night and decided i hate crowds and weird people. I had to wait for my tickets and wanted to choke 3 guys infront of me commenting on how good my girlfriend looks.
She said not worth it. I bit my tounge. Then while we are seated this one lady walked infront of us about 26 times. I had to lift my legs every time she went by. I finally said " is this the last time" she finally took a seat. The a few rows infront of us two big guys start screaming and fighting over god knows what ( liquid courage ).
When i got out of there all i could think about was being on a remote river by myself.
Have fun in alaska hm. Ohh and by the way my last name is bell.
Thanks man, slay some alaskan giants and post pics, your living my dream

It was a good run but now it's over. Although it's back to work, I can only imagine what your office must look like. I'm sure you have a better view than I do from mine. I hope you find blue skies and an abundance of fish and try to check in once in awhile to share some photos especially those of the Naha. See you in June. Jim

P.S. Don't let your guard down when the nasty slumgullion practical jokes are fly'n around up there. The fork in the boot trick story was epic!

Shoot, I was hoping Waco would come back with a rant about gringos and gorditas.

Have fun in Alaska Brad. I haven't been there since I was a teen but I sure loved it up there.

Since I Brought It Up, It Feels A lot Like Skipping School, Or Steeling. Squashing Spiders Even When You Are Outside. Its Those Morose Thoughts The Second One Realizes They're Being Seduced By The Dark Side.

Its A Power Greater Then One Self That Can Restore One To Insanity.

That Awkward Silence Seconds Before The Hangman Pulls The Lever.

The Instant You Realize You Feel More Comfortable In Your Grizzly Jason Halloween Costume Then Out.

I Don't Know How Else To Describe It - I Wish I Could Say That It's A Daily Walk With The Lord. Its More Struggle Then Anything...The Struggle - Like When The Dentist Is Pulling Your Teeth With Pliers And You Feel The Urge To Pull Back A Little.

The Digression Is But A Mere Symptom Of The Decay...[Bellowing Maniacal Laughter] :mad:/:pray:

Hope That Helps...LOL.
