What's biting around Portland during the summer

I'm going to be working in Portland this summer. Naturally I plan on doing some fishing, but I'm not sure what's biting around there in the summer. Thanks for the help.

Lots of bass/peamoth/pikeminnow in the willie

Lots o' bass, in the big C too...in the nooks, crannies, and sloughs. Also late spring nooks, in the Clack and Sandy. For trout, there's Hagg Lake to the west; and Lake Harriett, to the east.

Summer steelhead on the Clack or Sandy...seems a no-brainer given your screen name and in my mind, any other fish would be a let down
