What's a Glenda?

We all know what a Karen is, well I am going to let you figure this one out.

As I understand it: "an unattractive or unpleasant woman" Undesirable more for appearance I think, but personality or attitude can also play a part.
When I was in college, there was the term "Scud". Short range Scud was someone who looked good until you got closer to them and/or heard them talking. Long range Scud was someone you could tell from a mile away, that you didn't want anything to do with them.

So how do you block threads you have no interest in? Understand some folks are afraid of a lack or dearth of hate and discontent in the world, and so they attempt to stir a little up (whither intentionally or unintentionally), everywhere they go. Gotta admire the dedication and effort, but as the kids say "I got 99 problems and if it ain't got fins or gills, it ain't one". Plenty of other places just filled to the brim with folks who would love to yell and rant and rave and spew and pontificate on just about any subject you can imagine. Religion? Check! Medicine? Check! Money? politics? Wildlife and wildlife resource management (or perceived lack there of)? CHECK! CHECK!! CHECK!!! But much like a delicious ham sandwich at a bar mitzva, or a milk pail under a bull, this aint the place. (wanders off mumbling under breath about "dirty rotten godless commie dry fly fishing steel headers, thinking their so much better than everyone else}.

You can't.
You can "Ignore users" (not threads).

A user can ignore another user.
Result:

Threads started by that user are hidden (depending on settings)

Posts inside other threads may be collapsed

I think if you paid attention to anything said in this thread.... EVERYONE AGREES WITH HIS VIEW

Nobody cares about your politics. If you have something to prove, take it to X where you can find people to play with. This is a fishing forum. Nobody cares about Socialist Decline or whatever a Glenda is. And I doubt anyone here wants your custom made spinners. We'd have to meet up with you in person, or give you our address, and I'm pretty sure nobody wants you that much in their life.
