after about 6 hours of drifting eggs, with fish jumping all around us and only a samll steelhead taken down I decided to toss some spinners.
and second cast a pretty large buck slammed on my spinner.
took him out of the Kalama river on a green TCO spinner.
its hard to tell from this image, but thats a green inferno in his mouth.
first salmon I have ever caught.
he may be dark and old, but at least I took him on a spinner and he wasn't wild or foul hooked.
Skunk is finally leaving me alone after a long 8 month run without any fish on the bank.
