If you like it, I have a nice rig I'd sell you. Shimano 2 speed TLD30 and a Calstar 5'6'' all roller rod. would easily handle fish over 100 lbs. $400. I'll just never be able to fish tuna again. If you're interested, send me a PM. I ain't giving it away at that but I'll toss in plenty of extras to make it a great deal.Good grief I finally made it out to the tuna grounds. It was my first tuna trip and I found out it was a lot of fun but my god it was a lot of work too. We went out 25 mile and started out trolling with six rod. After we caught a fish trolling we would stop and fish with live bait. Fun but work.
Yeah, I hear that. Thanks for the offer but I have plenty of gear.
Yeah, I miss the trips and being able to go when I wanted and fish where I wanted without having to try and book a place on a party boat.I have a ton of Penn reels, the old ones 109, 209, 309, longbeach models and so on. I mostly just put them on a shelf to look at. I have a couple of Penn senators that I need to clean up and use. My kids are going to have fun getting rid of all my fishing gear when I kick the bucket. I bet you miss the Wellcraft and those ocean fishing trips.
I'm at that slow down and smell the roses place in my life. Didn't take time to get any picture but my wife has a couple on her phone. I will say the ocean was beautiful yesterday, whales, dolphins, and other great to see.
