Trout Fillets for Bait (Legalities)

A member told me once that carp can be taught to eat Cheetos.

when i visited my grandma in nevada about 7 years ago they have resturants right along the colorado, and they feed all the scraps to the carp out back. i have seen them eat chips before.

ya but that is a bread/ wheat product so they would eat that but not meat. I would bet that you can't get a carp to eat hotdogs or pieces of fish, unless it is starved or something.

I've caught Carp on hotdogs worms and caught tons on spicy sausage all while catfishing in the columbia.

Carp need protein too, fishmeal is a well known bait additive, and fishmeal is just ground fish that has been dried, oily fish like Herring make good quality meal.
