Took my little girl fishing

My 4 year-old daughter has been BEGGING to go fishing for months now, so we took advantage of a little sunshine yesterday. We went out to our favorite pond after I got home from work, and she lasted for a couple of hours before she got tired of reeling in fish. We caught bluegill, perch, and bass, no size to any of them, but still a great day fishing.

I'm gearing up, to take my 4 yr. old grand niece out soon. I taught her mom how to fish, when she was 3. There's nothing quite like watching a little kid light up, with their first fish! My dad taught me, when I was 5. So, it's being passed down the pipeline. And it's FUN!

Its fun teaching them how to cast. Funny when they try to throw the line and it goes behind them. Not so funny when you get hooked ...ah its kinda funny.
