I'm told there is also a striper fishery there as well as a decent bottom fishery. I've seen lots of pictures of large Fall Chinook, but I was told by a buddy about 5 years ago all the Chinook that were in that year were little football shaped 15 pounders.

Yeah what Coho kid gave is from the Umpqua. If you want some decent reports from the medford area check out the Mailtribune Reports. It's good at telling you what you can fish for on the different sections and provides decent reports. I also update my blog anytime I go out.
