Go to canyonville, put in at the park behind the casino. take a kicker and run up to the bridge and side-drift back to the put-in and repeat until limited out...fish will bite well until about 11 am so get there early
What is the best color of YARNIE to use?
I have only fished there once, we went without the boat...doh. Went back and got boat...8:30 ish by the time we put in.That is Stanton park, expect a lot of boats in that 1/2 mile stretch of river! If the fishing is good there might be 15-20! It's gets pretty crowded!
Would these be the spots to start at for us bankies too? I will be driving south on Monday and would like to do some fishing. I was thinking about starting at Canyonville and heading down 227?

6-8 guides had already been putting a whipping on em for 2 hrs.
We still managed a 13lb clipped buck and a little hen one on flame corkie/roe, the other on pink/white SMALL yarnie.
There were fish caught on all colors as well as pink worms and jigs boondogged
This was middle of march last year
