I've never heard of to many people plunking around the chinook landing area. But tanner creek just below bonneville dam is a very popular plunking for steelhead spot.

Any decent fly fishing at Tanner? Might be heading out to Bonneville this week and would like to fling a line if family gives me half a chance. If so, any recommendations on patterns or presentations?

Yeah, if you fish Glo Bugs in all the little pockets there you are sure to catch a few fish.
