South Santiam Bank Fishing

Hello all! I'm looking at trying to find some good bank fishing spots anywhere along the South Santiam. I'm primarily trying to get into a salmon to knock it off my bucket list! Any helpful advice will be appreciated!

The Spring run should be underway now. Have a friend who grew up on that river. He always said that May 15th is the date to start hitting it, for the Springers. Below the break dam are some deep pools which hold fish. Good luck and tight lines!
