My buddy and I launched onto Green Peter Reservoir today, about 7:30. We were primarily targeting smallies. The water temp was 63 everywhere we went. Up from 52 degrees, just 2 weeks ago. While tossing poppers and divers/crankbaits with a trusty Fenwick spinning glass rod. I also trolled a dodger & mice tail, with my fiberglass Lamiglas casting rod. Here's the score:
Buddy: 1 bow & 6 smallies
Me: 4 bows & 3 smallies
It was a great day well spent with a good friend! I've been out 2 times before, already this year. Once with Gary, and once with OFFer PK. And finally got the skunk OFF my rods!
