Since I've been invited to brag, here it is...

I did pretty well on the Willamette this spring and was very pleased to go 8 for 8 with a couple of limits in my new kayak.
Man, I love catching springers 10 minutes from home!

We made it out to Buoy -10 with Marvin's Guide Service again which is kind of becoming a tradition, it seems.

The stats for the day were seven for nine with four keepers. Released two wild coho and one jack Chinook. We got them on both herring and spinners. Marvin got our future daughter-in-law her first couple of salmon which made the trip especially nice. The big heartbreak was my wife fighting a Chinook that probably would have gone 30# to the net three times and have it come off at the net. We only lost one other fish.

Including a highfinner.

I have a recollection of someone else getting chewed out for that quite recently.

Which one? There are three Chinook and a clipped coho. Look closely.

sorry I missed this post, that coho is clearly marked (clipped), Dr.T owes C_Run and Marvin an apology. roger

Oh, I don't care. Dr. T's cool. I just wish I had another picture to post by now but I don't.

Got to brag about my wife's second kayak caught salmon. She was trolling a Bob Toman spinner at the Siletz and her number came up. 18 lbs.

4 for 8 between 4 folks, same spot as bd2cool except on wednesday. My brother got the hot seat and managed to lose 3 of the ones that got away.. At least he didn't kick the tackle box into the water this time.
