Hey I'm new to the area and don't have a bass boat. I currently live on hayden island. I'm wondering where the closest shore bass fishing is to me. Looking forward to the answers!

Welcome to Oregon, and to OFF. This link, will be a good place to start.
Bass on the river will hit year round, but really start to light up when the water surface temp pushes beyond 55F. That said, some of the sloughs and railroad track formed ponds are shallower and have less turn over. They warm sooner than the main channel. Good luck to you!

You live on Hayden Island and are worried about bass?
Did you by chance move to Oregon to escape allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a cousin?
KIDDING!!!!
This time of year, go chuck a salmon plunking rig right OFF the beach in your neighborhood.
So much more out there than small bass that are inedible.
