Sandy river ice fishing

I've been looking for a photo of the Columbia frozen over about 1930. My Grandmother had a picture of a car driving on the ice. Can't find her picture

Where did you get those old pictures? Yours is the closest I've found.

I would think you would need to bonk them on the mouth to get 'em to bite when its that cold
