I'm working in Roseburg looking for a spot to fish. Any suggestions?? I'm bank fishing (not a fly guy..)

People do pretty good right before it turns into the fly fishing only stretch on hwy 158 on the N umpqua. I think its about mp 20...?

River Forks, Cleveland Rapids, Singleton Park (across the river from River Forks) are some of the best access for bank fishing but you can fish off the ramp at Amacher Park right now too. All these are very close to town. I drifted from Amacher to the Forks and didn't see too many fish. I'm guessing most fish are still in the main river.

Pay close attention to #15, Deer park! They acclimate hatchery fish here and the fishing can be pretty good from the mouth of Deer creek down to the baseball fields.
Another good place for a bankie is behind the casino in Canyonville. It's another acclimation sight with easy access.

PS I've never drifted, so bank fishing is ok aka what I'm used to.
