No problem. Just grab them behind the head like John Wayne and fling 'em.
OK, I just cancelled the 5 wt fly fishing rod kit I had ordered on the Amazon with the idear of trout on the Deschutes.
Thanks !
Just going to quit that quick huh Mark?!
I'm terrified of snakes, but they ain't keeping me from some of the most powerful and gorgeous Trout around!

the trick is to sing, kick rocks and logs before stepping over or on them. Make lots of noise and they will DIDI before you even get close. I grew up over in Rattler country and have never had a problem. Now a 10 foot Cobra in a bunker that's a different story!
So singing sympathy for the Devil doesn't help?

Most often, the person who gets bitten is the ones who mess with them. Yes, they are afraid of you more than you are off then, and given the chance, they will go the other way. And yes, they only hear by vibrations (as was stated earlier). As far as the BBQ, yes, they taste good, but if you are the type that foregoes certain fish because they are too boney, then snack may not be your ideal snack.

I was a math major a loooong time ago but one thing I remember is that "most" is the same as "not all", which means that some are bitten just minding their own business. Probability being what it is, like a casino, if you play long enough you will eventually get bit!
Do not want. It is a big reason I live where I live.
