Night fishing for brown bullheads

Last night I did some catfish fishing after all the carp at a different lake. I caught a whole bunch of the slimy little suckers, including some ones that were surprisingly big for brown bullheads. I'd like to find somewhere where I have a shot at catching bigger catfish, most likely channel cats. I heard that there are some at Commonwealth Lake but haven't heard any definite reports that they are present. Are there any other places where they can be easily targeted?

Those are Mustards.

Channel Cats are the big dogs and they don't generally monkey around in ponds.
They like flowing water (rivers).
The Snake River has a good population.
You don't hear much about them in the Metro area.

Bond Butte pond on i5 just south of the Brownsville exit has channels. Has a lot of yellow bullheads too.

Just caught a bunch of those this weekend down here at Fern Ridge Res. Mine were all tiny, though.... 5" was the biggest. Was this up in the Portland area?

Columbia River for channels, beware of interested sturgeon though...
